DRIFTING CITIES<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A contemporary printmaking exhibition by the students of the 2d Printmaking Studio of the Athens School of Fine Arts. The works draw on the famous trilogy Drifting cities<\/em> by Greek writer Stratis Tsirkas (1911-1980). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition presents 50 prints in traditional as\nwell as, in contemporary techniques. These are multilayered works that engage\nwith social, political and humanitarian issues, reflecting the writer\u2019s concerns.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christos Angelopoulos, Argyro Vasilakou, Konstantina Georga, Canuto Kallan, Vicky Kolipetsa, Ioanna Lianou, Fay Mitsani, Polytimi Benaki, Marina Provatidou, Dimitris Spanopoulos, Marilena Synodinou, Eleni Tsaldiri, Michael Falkonis, Panagiotis Feredinos, Myrto Feredinou, Sylvia Fessa<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening: Wednesday, 16 November 2011 at 19:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening night program:
– Presentation of a prize and two commendations to the participating artists
– Projection of a documentary film on Stratis Tsirkas by Takis Hatzopoulos, introduced by Chryssa Prokopaki<\/p>\n\n\n\n
