The G. Gounaropoulos Museum and the Greek Printmakers Association present a Japan Print Society exhibition, entitled “Between sky and earth. Contemporary Japanese Printmaking”.
The Greek Printmakers Association and the Japan Print Society enjoy a long-term cooperation. This year, while 51 Japanese printmakers will be presenting their prints in Athens, 26 Greek printmakers, will show their work in Saitama and Tokyo. These exhibitions are part of a Greek Printmakers Association program that aims to promote contemporary printmaking through international collaborations.
Japanese printmaking has a long and significant history which will be explored and discussed in the exhibition’s lectures program.
