Photography exhibition by Andreas Smaragdis on tsikoudia.

Andreas Smaragdis has captured the mystical ambience of distilling tsikoudia (traditional Cretan drink) in a series of large format photographs. The exhibition is complemented by a short movie that presents the locations and the creative process of the artist.

On the opening night, the Cretan Association of Zografos “N. KAZANTZAKIS” will recreate the traditional distillation process of tsikoudia in the court yard of the museum. The drink will be accompanied by Cretan finger food as well as live Cretan music.
